May Allah forgive her sins and grant her Jannat ul Firdaus, Ameen. We encourage all to take time out of your schedules to attend Salatul Janazah.
On behalf of the community we offer our deepest sympathy and sincere condolences to the family. May Allah grant the entire family patience and comfort during this difficult time. We also pray for the soul of our Sister Aminah and ask Allah to expand and enlighten her grave with His Noor and grant her Jannathul-Firdous, Ameen.
Abu Huraira (RA) reported that Allah’s Messenger ṣallallāhu 'alayhi wa sallam (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him) said:
“Who amongst you is fasting today? Abu Bakr said: I am. He (again) said: Who amongst you followed a funeral procession today? Abu Bakr said: I did. He (the Prophet) again said: Who amongst you served food to the needy? Abu Bakr said: I did. He (again) said: Who amongst you has today visited the sick? Abu Bakr said: I did. Thereupon Allah’s Messenger ṣallallāhu 'alayhi wa sallam (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him) said: Anyone in whom (these good deeds) are combined will certainly enter paradise.” [Sahih Muslim]
Narrated Abu Huraira (RA): I heard Allah's Apostle (salallahu alayhi wasallam) saying, "The rights of a Muslim on the Muslims are to follow the funeral processions, to accept invitation and to reply the sneezer." [Bukhari]
Narrated Abu Huraira (RA): that Allah's Apostle (salallahu alayhi wasallam) said, "Whoever attends the funeral procession till he offers the funeral prayer for it, will get a reward equal to one Qirat, and whoever accompanies it till burial, will get a reward equal to two Qirats." It was asked, "What are two Qirats?" He replied, "Like two huge mountains." [Bukhari]
